Phase 02 · Complete
From a broad ecosystem to two testable use cases.
The student transition was mapped end to end, then narrowed around the moments where coordination, trust, and readiness matter most.
Approved Phase 2 research segment
Focused enough to test. Broad enough to grow.
Preparing for their first overseas university experience, with the destination intentionally left open. UAE residents remain a future expansion segment.
Eight-stage journey
The transition begins before application—and continues beyond arrival.
Mapping the full experience prevents UniRo from solving one isolated transaction while missing the next source of uncertainty.

Priority pains
Three recurring barriers shape the strongest opportunity space.
Affordability
Recognition & coordination
Housing & arrival
Family involvement cuts across all three. The experience must support student independence while giving parents appropriate visibility and reassurance.
Opportunity comparison
Prioritized by student value and venture fit.
Eight service verticals were scored out of 25 to identify the strongest entry points and the layers that belong later in the ecosystem.
Recommended entry use cases
One use case to prepare.
One use case to arrive.
These are the Phase 2 product hypotheses to carry into validation—not claims of proven demand.
UniRo Pathway Navigator
“Know what to do next, which choices are verified, and what could still prevent your move.”
UniRo Arrival Setup
“Arrive with a trusted place to live, working connectivity, and a clear first-week plan.”
Ecosystem roles
UniRo coordinates the route. Partners enable each step.
The opportunity is not to reproduce every service. It is to connect trusted providers around a coherent student journey.

Identity decision
Profile first. Physical card later.
Phase 2 defers a standalone physical student card. The initial concept is a UniRo profile with checklist and document-status visibility, with potential student-identity integration or co-branding tested only after demand and partner economics are clearer.
Phase 03 result
UniRo Compass now connects readiness, travel, and arrival.
Phase 3 carried the two approved use cases into an Emirates-focused, UAE-to-UK travel-package orchestration concept: simulated now, partner-led later, with transparent configuration and a disclosed future seller and payment handoff.

Official signals. International evidence. Commercial benchmarks.
The Phase 2 decision record combines UAE government services and scholarship guidance, international-student research, and current provider partnership mechanisms. Together they validate the problem categories and shape the hypotheses without implying partner interest or proven demand for UniRo.

Evidence boundary
Phase 2 is complete for this mock venture. Desk research validates the importance of the pain categories and informs the hypotheses above; it does not prove demand for UniRo. Direct student, family, and partner validation remains necessary before product or commercial claims can be made.
